Whether enthusiastic novices or dedicated culinarians, E! Cuisine’s personal instruction classes have been developed to help guests achieve new culinary heights. Our classes will assist you in achieving professional results as you explore new cuisines and learn new techniques from Chef Mark.

 

To obtain the best results, our class is limited to two guests. This allows both guests to receive one-on-one instruction and fully participate in the gourmet cooking experience. You won’t just learn a recipe, you will learn how to cook for life.

 

For your classes, you may select dishes of your own choosing or select dishes from our broad menu. Samples include Belgian Ale Braised Short Ribs with Rosemary Scented Glaze, Pan-Roasted Chicken Breast with Brandied Mustard Sauce,  Thai-Marinated Grilled Salmon, French classics like Beef Bourguignon and Sauté de Veau aux Champignon, or Italian dishes like Gnocchi, or Creamy Parmesan Risotto.

 

Classes and Descriptions

 

Basic Culinary, Braising, Sauté, and Pan Sauces

 

The fundamentals of the culinary arts are essential for a fun and exciting cooking experience that bring professional results. This class begins with learning knife skills for speed and safety. Then, after reviewing how to select and store quality ingredients, you will learn proper techniques for braising and sautéing, followed by pan sauces that can be quickly made and slowly enjoyed!

 

 

Roasting, Blanching and Grilling

 

To get the most enjoyment from any meal, you must take advantage of the cooking techniques that are best suited for the ingredients of that meal. In this class you will learn how to achieve deep caramelized flavors by roasting and grilling then pair your exciting new dishes with bright-tasting vegetables loaded with flavor and texture via blanching.

 

 

Techniques for Health Cooking, Poaching and Gourmet Salads

 

Learn how to cut your calories and saturated fats while keeping your meals satisfying and loaded with flavor. You will learn the latest techniques for healthy cooking that will enable you to create dishes that will positively redefine your ideas about low-fat and low-calorie cuisine. This is an exceptional class for those who enjoy great food and want to maintain good health.

 

 

Pastry and Desserts

 

Hot baked pies with flaky crusts, fresh berry tartlets, baked fruit with crème Anglaise, and French classics like Crepes Suzette or Crème Brulee can be a part of your repertoire of fine desserts after taking this class.

Details of Pricing

 

Classes are customized to meet your specific requests so the class time and cost of ingredients vary accordingly. Most classes require three hours, with an average cost of $150 ($75 per person - maximum of two guests).
